Job summary

PRC Baker Places in San Francisco is seeking a Program Director for the Leland House to implement the organization’s mission through actionable plans and measurable results. You will lead the transitional housing program and collaborate with senior management to ensure high-quality client care and staff support.

You will recruit and supervise staff, monitor outcomes, and ensure documentation compliance while building strong partnerships with community providers and landlords.

Qualifications

• Active license/registration with California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
• 2+ years clinical experience with adults having MH, SUD, HIV/AIDS, or homelessness.
• 3+ years supervisory/management of direct care staff.
• Experience in transitional housing setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of agency-supported transitional housing program.
• Develop and monitor policies and procedures to enhance client care and outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with program objectives and service standards.
• Recruit, supervise, mentor, train, and evaluate program staff.
• Monitor outcomes and staff productivity; ensure case managers meet service units across billable categories.
• Maintain timely documentation per agency, county, and regulatory standards.
• Build collaborative relationships with community partners and landlords for housing stability.
• Develop KPIs and reporting systems to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Provide individual counseling and group therapy for clients with MH/SUD needs.
• Coordinate with external providers to access primary medical, mental health, and SUD care, including wrap-around services.
