Job summary

Program Director on-site in Chicopee, MA leads clinical and administrative operations for the Division of Supportive Housing (DSH). You will oversee multiple housing programs, provide leadership to staff, ensure trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services, and maintain compliance with licensing, funding, and accreditation standards.

The role includes budget oversight, staff development, and building partnerships with funders and community stakeholders, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, acceptable driving record, and sufficient insurance.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in housing.
• Bilingual/Bicultural candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of Housing First, trauma-informed care, harm-reduction, and person-centered planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership to Program Supervisors.
• Oversee daily operations of multiple housing programs.
• Review and approve participant assessments, referrals, placements, and support needs.
• Monitor program budgets and promote responsible fiscal management.
• Ensure accurate documentation to meet licensing, funding, and CARF accreditation requirements.
• Lead staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, supervision, and professional development.
• Coordinate with funders and external stakeholders and participate in audits and site visits.
• Lead implementation of new programs and major program changes in collaboration with senior leadership.
