Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation in Ada, Oklahoma, seeks a Program Director to lead the inpatient rehabilitation program, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited PT/OT/SLP or RN program.
• Oklahoma license (if applicable) or eligible for licensure.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in inpatient rehab management preferred.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the inpatient rehabilitation program, including clinical, financial, and administrative performance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with treatment standards.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, goals, and strategic plans.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agencies.
• Supervise and develop staff; provide ongoing training and support.
• Analyze performance metrics and drive quality improvement initiatives.
• Represent the rehab program in internal and external meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Mercy Hospital Ada, Oklahoma, is a 159-bed, acute-care facility serving Pontotoc County and the surrounding areas in south-central Oklahoma. Our hospital provides vital health care services to the Ada and surrounding communities

How You'll Contribute

The Program Director is responsible for the overall administration, planning, development, and financial operations of the rehabilitation program, ensuring quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.

Essential Functions

• Oversee the operations of the inpatient rehabilitation program including clinical, financial, and administrative performance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with treatment standards.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, goals, and strategic plans.

What We're Looking For

• Degree from an accredited PT, OT, SLP or RN program
• Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Sleep Language Pathologist, Registered Nurse License in State (Oklahoma)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) obtain within 30 days of hire
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
