Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) for PRN coverage at Mercy Hospital Ada, Oklahoma. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapies that restore mobility and function, document care, and support discharge planning.
Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, educating patients and caregivers, monitoring responses, and communicating progress to the supervising therapist.

Mercy Hospital Ada, Oklahoma, is a 159-bed, acute-care facility serving Pontotoc County and the surrounding areas in south-central Oklahoma. Our hospital provides vital health care services to the Ada and surrounding communities
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services that support patients in developing, restoring, and maintaining physical function and mobility. The PTA implements treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic modalities, monitors patient responses, and communicates progress and potential goal modifications to the supervising therapist. Responsibilities include documenting care, educating patients and caregivers about functional deficits, and assisting with discharge planning, including guidance on adaptive equipment and community resources. The PTA ensures high-quality care while promoting patient engagement and recovery.
