Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Program Director to oversee the total operations of the acute rehabilitation program at Nacogdoches Medical Center South. The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, HR management, and a commitment to program development and outcomes improvement.

Ideal candidates will have a clinical background (PT/OT/SLP or RN) and a bachelor’s degree, with a track record in rehabilitation management and the ability to lead interdisciplinary teams in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing an Acute Rehabilitation program.
• Strong business, interpersonal, organizational and entrepreneurial skills.
• Bachelor degree required.
• Clinical experience with a PT/OT/SLP or RN background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total operations of the acute rehabilitation program.
• Drive budgeting, program growth, and expense management.
• Lead HR activities and program development with a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure quality, outcomes improvement and productivity across the program.
• Serve as a role model for policy adherence and be the program face at the hospital.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

How You'll Contribute

A Program Director who excels in this role:

• Responsible for the total operations of the acute rehabilitation program


• Accountable for budgeting, program growth, Human Resources management, expense management, program development, quality and outcome improvement, and productivity management in an interdisciplinary fashion


• A role model for adherence to policies, procedures, communication and serve as the \"face\" of the program at the hospital


• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• A track record of successful management experience in an Acute Rehabilitation setting is preferred


• Strong business, interpersonal, organizational and entrepreneurial skills are necessary


• At minimum be a graduate of a four year bachelor degree program


• Clinical experience with a degree as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), Speech Language Therapist (SLP) or Registered Nurse (RN)
