Be part of a team that focuses on developing creative provider compensation solutions for Banner Health. The Provider Compensation department uses independent external market data to evaluate and advise on provider compensation, supporting Banner Health's strategic decisions to recruit, engage, and retain providers.
As a Program Director, Provider Compensation, your responsibilities include performing financial analyses of compensation arrangements, market research on physician compensation trends, detailed valuation analyses, excel-based modeling, project management, and understanding healthcare regulatory matters. You will communicate key findings across departments and administer the physician and APP compensation program.
The working schedule is Monday-Friday, 8-hour days, remote.
This role involves designing and leading provider compensation programs, reviewing complex hospital subsidy arrangements, and providing consultative services to senior leadership. You will coordinate with Legal on contracts, supervise staff, ensure data integrity, and analyze provider compensation data.
Core Functions include:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, accounting, business, legal, or related field. Proven success leading large-scale projects with at least seven years of experience. Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills. Proficiency in software applications.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree, experience in healthcare delivery systems, value-based healthcare experience.
