Job summary

Marion General Hospital in Marion, IN, is seeking a Program Director of Rehabilitation to oversee an inpatient rehabilitation unit and lead Lifepoint Rehabilitation's clinical program. You will work with CLs, CMs, and therapy staff to drive high-quality care and ensure performance across clinical, financial, and administrative domains.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline or healthcare management, at least 3 years in rehab leadership, and an active state license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in rehab leadership or administration.
• Valid clinical license as applicable by state.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the inpatient rehabilitation program including clinical, financial, and administrative performance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with treatment standards.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, goals, and strategic plans.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agencies.
• Supervise and develop staff; provide ongoing training and support.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Represent the rehab program in internal and external meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Oversees a 15-bed Rehabilitation Unit with Clinical Liaisons (CL), Case Managers (CM), and the therapy team reporting directly to this position.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have aBachelor's degree in a clinical discipline or healthcare management. Additional requirements include:

*We welcome clinical candidates from the following disciplines: Registered Nurses (RN), Physical Therapists (PT), Occupational Therapists (OT), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), and Master of Social Work (MSW) professionals.*
