Job summary

University of California, Berkeley is seeking a Program Director of the Native Community Center (NCC) within NASD to manage day‑to‑day operations and oversee programming for undergraduate and graduate students. This role partners with the NASD Executive Director to foster an inclusive, vibrant campus space.

The position requires leadership in multicultural engagement, program design, mentoring student staff, and collaboration with campus stakeholders.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of community engagement practices and experience with Native American communities.
Understanding of multicultural student development and leadership development.
Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform program decisions.
Strong interpersonal and public communication skills, with ability to work across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day operations and logistics of the NCC on UC Berkeley campus.
Plan, develop, and assess programs and events promoting equity, inclusion, and social dialogue.
Hire, train, and supervise undergraduate and graduate student coordinators and interns.
Foster collaborations with campus units, community partners, and stakeholders to advance community goals.
Manage resources, budgets, and inventory to support NCC activities.
