Job Summary

Responsible for leadership and/or technical oversight of an assigned Information Technology (IT) segment within the organization. Responsible for creating and rolling out policies and procedures associated with that IT segment. Will act as point of contact and full accountability for a high degree of redundancy and reliability of the assigned IT segment.

Responsibilities

• Identifies best practices for service offerings of the IT segment.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of departmental workflows.
• Responsible for vendor management, including contract negotiations, invoice reconciliation, release updates, issue lists, and new product evaluations.
• Reviews work of lower‑level personnel to ensure satisfaction of service offerings.
• Performs personnel review and evaluation functions for salary administration, training, and promotion.
• Prepares periodic budget and ensures adherence for the department.
• Monitors compliance with Information Systems procedures and policies and reports findings to IT leadership.
• Presents issues and concerns to IT leadership with potential solutions when appropriate.
• Works with departmental and division management to develop and implement Information Technology strategies.
• Establishes and monitors operational KPIs, including productivity standards.
• Develops and administers the IT budget for the responsible area, practicing fiscally sound budget management to keep spending within allocated funds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years managing people, processes, or projects.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
• Associate’s Degree (2 years of education) or Bachelor’s Degree (4 years of education) may be considered.
• Epic Bridges Certification highly preferred.
