Job summary

S:US is seeking a Program Director for our Developmental Disabilities Division in New York. You will provide leadership and oversee residence operations, ensuring person-centered planning and compliant care in line with OPWDD standards.

The role requires coaching staff, maintaining records, budget oversight, and collaboration with Human Resources and stakeholders to support people with IDD and their circle of support.

Qualifications

• AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR & First Aid is needed, but not required
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, Windows)
• Driver's License preferred
• Experience with IDD is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction for the residence through mentoring and coaching
• Maintains records and ensures staff training and support
• Ensure staff trained in health protocols, personal choice and outcomes
• Leads meetings with stakeholders to ensure participation for all members of each person’s circle of support
• Partners with Human Resources on hiring, developing and retaining staff
• Oversees budget and ensures program operations within budget
