Services for the UnderServed (S:US) is seeking a Program Director in New York City to lead initiatives for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role emphasizes empathetic leadership, fostering independence, and maintaining regulatory compliance, ensuring a high quality of life for those supported.

The Program Director will provide supervision, monitor quality improvement, and collaborate with the Human Resources Department to retain skilled staff. A Bachelor’s Degree and relevant experience are preferred for applicants.

Formación

• Experience in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Mastery in conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and personal care.
• Ability to provide mentoring and leadership to staff.

Responsabilidades

• Lead staff and ensure a person-centered focus in care.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Monitor program quality and implement improvements.

Conocimientos

Experience working with people with IDD

AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR & First Aid

Basic computer skills

Educación

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
