Job summary

Dungarvin seeks a Program Director to oversee and coordinate residential and day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD). The role blends direct care with supervisory duties.

You will manage staff, develop goals, monitor operations, and coordinate medical, financial and maintenance aspects with site leadership. A bachelor’s in a human services field and leadership experience are required to ensure quality supports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field is required.
• At least1 year full-time direct experience with participants with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
• At least 2 years of management experience with development disabilities.
• Demonstrates good decision-making, time management and communication skills; must be responsible, mature and flexible.
• Valid driver’s license.
• A successful background clearance is required as part of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate residential and/or day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Manage personnel and ensure orientation and ongoing training.
• Monitor all aspects of the program and develop goals and plans; implement the program.
• Coordinate and manage operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects with site designees.
