Job summary

RTX’s Missiles & Defense division in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Associate Director, Program Management to lead the Performance, Field and Flight Test (PFFT) Program. You will own related profit and loss, drive program execution across software upgrades, flight tests and hardware upgrades.

The role requires a university degree with 12+ years experience (or advanced degree with 10+ years), strong EVMS cost/schedule management, and excellent communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience with 12+ years, or an advanced degree with 10+ years of related experience.
• Experience leading programs in development, software upgrades, fleet sustainment or engineering services/support.
• Experience managing costs, schedules, and technical performance using EVMS or similar qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Own related profit and loss, AOP and financial commitments.
• Coordinate across SM‑6 programs to align interdependencies and portfolio commitments.
• Represent customer needs to leadership and shape future acquisitions.
• Travel as needed.
• Manage risk, opportunity, cost, quality and schedule performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with PMX303, Tech Reps, and DCMA.
