Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc (BHN) invites you to join as Program Director to oversee our Family Resource Center, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed services for children, youth, and families across Western Massachusetts. Lead program operations, manage contracts and compliance, supervise staff, and build strong community partnerships to help families access the resources they need to thrive.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
  • LCSW/LICSW/LMHC licensure required.
  • Massachusetts CANS Certification required.
  • Minimum 5 years of program management and staff supervision.
  • Experience with children, youth, and families; familiarity with state agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and programming of the Family Resource Center.
  • Manage contractual relationships and ensure compliance with program, state, and funding requirements.
  • Serve as liaison with state agencies, including EOHHS and DCF.
  • Ensure adherence to guidelines, contractual obligations, and program benchmarks.
  • Monitor program performance, budgets, expenditures, and outcomes with senior leadership.
  • Develop partnerships with community organizations and agencies.
  • Conduct community outreach to increase awareness and engagement with FRC services.
  • Supervise program staff, including Family Partners and supervisory personnel.
  • Conduct trauma-informed assessments for youth and families presenting CRA concerns.
  • Collaborate with families and staff to develop individualized family support plans.
  • Provide clinical consultation and guidance to program staff.
  • Maintain electronic health records per agency/state regulations.
  • Facilitate groups and family-centered services based on community needs.
  • Identify challenges, problem-solve, and communicate updates to leadership.
  • Travel is required.
