Job summary

LBAPS is seeking a Program Director to lead the growth and external operations of a DOE-funded special education program serving students with autism and ADHD in private schools. The role is BCBA-driven and outward-facing, ensuring the program stays full, staffed, and properly documented.

You will drive enrollment, represent the program in due process hearings, attend IEP meetings, and manage intake, scheduling, data, billing, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s in special education, ABA, psychology, business, or related field preferred.
• 3–5+ years in leadership, business development, or program administration in special education or human services.
• Knowledge of IEP/IESP processes, DOE funding structures, due process hearings, and special education regulation.
• Track record of recruitment, enrollment growth, or marketing.
• Experience building and managing operational systems and workflows.
• Willingness to testify at impartial hearings; hearing or deposition experience is a plus.
• Strong writing skills and ability to review clinical/educational documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and credibility with families, administrators, and attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Drive recruitment, marketing, and enrollment growth.
• Represent the program in due process and impartial hearings.
• Attend IEP meetings and advocate the program’s position.
• Serve as main contact for families, schools, evaluators, and districts.
• Own intake, enrollment, scheduling, data collection, billing, and reporting end to end.
• Select and implement practice-management, data-collection, CRM, HR, and document-storage platforms.
• Train staff on consistent use of new systems.
