Job description

Program Director, Diagnostic Radiology Residency – The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is seeking a faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the rank of Associate or Full Professor and will provide clinical services primarily at UCSF Health sites, with possible clinical work at other UCSF‑affiliated sites. The candidate will demonstrate ongoing clinical activity while contributing to academic activities and related duties.

Requirements: MD degree (or equivalent), ability or eligibility to practice medicine in California, completion of fellowship training in an imaging subspecialty, and specialty expertise. Must have at least three years of documented educational and/or administrative experience and be board‑certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology. Applicants must submit current and/or pending qualifications. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.

Compensation: The minimum base salary range is $190,600–$405,900. The position includes compensation plan membership and additional negotiated compensation. Benefits include comprehensive health and retirement packages. For detailed information, please refer to UCSF salary and benefits resources.
