Brilliant Detroit seeks a Program Director to lead the Programs Department in a fast-paced, relationship-centered nonprofit environment. You will direct strategic programming across Education, Family Support and Health, ensuring quality and measurable outcomes for families and communities.

The role requires collaborative leadership, field presence with staff, and a focus on two-generation, holistic approaches to service delivery. Evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in nonprofit or community settings with program development
• Experience managing people across multiple locations and stakeholders
• Strong grant writing, reporting, budgeting, and evaluation abilities
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to represent the organization externally

Responsabilités

• Oversee programming initiatives at Brilliant Detroit neighborhood hubs.
• Direct the Programming Department to ensure breadth, quality and alignment with outcomes
• Determine staffing needs and participate in hiring for program staff
• Collaborate with Community Engagement and partner teams to ground offerings in mission
• Maintain Program Offering Menu and communicate updates to internal teams
• Ensure program fidelity with Learning, Research and Evaluation Director
• Support volunteers and service members and oversee onboarding
• Coach program facilitators and document process improvements
