Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a Human Services field plus 2 years of management experience, or 10+ years in human services/corrections.
• Demonstrated leadership, sound judgment, and flexibility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and basic computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency requirements.
• Ability to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) and HIPAA privacy and security rules.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and administration of the program
• Supervise assigned staff, including performance evaluations and supervisory sessions
• Conduct monthly staff meetings and regular team and client meetings
• Ensure compliance with agency Administrative Policies and Procedures
• Develop, implement, review, and maintain the Program Policy and Procedures Manual and client handbook
• Ensure high-quality delivery of all program services
• Conduct regular program evaluations to maintain program integrity
• Assess staff training needs and coordinate staff development plans
• Prepare annual budget recommendations with input from direct reports
• Ensure contract compliance, data collection, and positive relationships with funding sources

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Program Director to provide leadership and oversee the administration and operations of our Blackwood program. Reporting to the Regional Director, this role is responsible for program integrity, staff and client welfare, safety and security, contract compliance, reporting, and appropriate fiscal management.

This position is ideal for a strong human services leader who can balance operational oversight, staff development, compliance, community relationships, and quality service delivery.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide overall leadership and administration of the program
