Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a seasoned Program Director to lead Crossroads Community Services in Carbon, Monroe, and Pike Counties, PA. You’ll oversee the clinical quality, staff leadership, financial management, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day operations.

This role emphasizes person-centered, trauma-informed care, strong team development, and collaboration with partners to promote recovery, independence, and community integration while ensuring high-quality services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Business Management required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a human services agency with supervision, direct service, and program planning.
• Ability to effectively use computers, technology, and mobile devices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain required criminal record clearances.
• Valid Driver’s License, current vehicle registration, and access to a functional vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to program staff.
• Foster an organizational culture focused on professionalism, quality care, employee engagement, empowerment, and RHD’s values.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary processes.
• Partner with HR to address staffing needs and vacancies.
• Develop and monitor program metrics to support quality staff performance and development.
• Build a collaborative environment where staff deliver high-quality services.
• Promote trauma-informed, person-centered, recovery-oriented services.
• Ensure treatment/service plans are current and appropriate.
• Balance service quality with responsible financial management.
• Develop positive relationships with community stakeholders and funding partners.
