Adult Day Care Program Director

Richmond Adult Day Care is seeking a Program Director for our Adult Day Care in Staten Island, New York. The ideal candidate will have a background in ADC and be extremely organized.

DUTIES:

1. Perform and direct all marketing and outreach activities related to diversifying the registrant base to increase or maintain program census in accordance with CHC strategic plan.
2. Plan, develop, organize, and implement all activities and services provided by the program.
3. Ensure compliance with established guidelines, regulations, and fiscal restraints.
4. Develop and maintain administrative plans and procedures.
5. Coordinate admission data with RN and Social Worker.
6. Evaluate potential participants for eligibility into the program.
7. Oversee all staff, students, and volunteers, including hiring, training, managing, evaluating, and terminating.
8. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
9. Prepare and conduct information sessions, outreach, education, and advocacy programs related to the services offered.
10. Participate in community and professional meetings and seminars, including the ADC Council.
11. Prepare monthly reports including census data and summaries of daily operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
• Experience in Adult Day Care is highly preferred.
• Prior management experience is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to lead team development.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
