Job summary

United and Empowered seeks a Program Director to lead community programs in Virginia. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff across multiple program areas, and ensure quality service delivery in alignment with agency policies and funding requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, coordinating documentation, writing Person-Centered Plans, and engaging with CSBs and community partners.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Human Services or Bachelor's with 2+ years experience in Human Services.
• Experience: Supervisory experience in a human services setting is required.
• Certification: Must be credentialed or eligible as a QIDP or QMHP.
• Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job description

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $500!

• $250 after 90 days


• Additional $250 after 6 months

Salary starts at $45,000 - $55,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)

Typical Day:

• Oversee the daily operations of assigned programs to ensure quality service delivery.


• Supervise and support employees working in multiple program areas.


• Prepare and submit accurate reports as required by agency policies and funding sources.


• Coordinate and monitor all documentation processes to maintain compliance and effectiveness.


• Write and implement Person-Centered Plans and complete quarterly progress reviews.


• Complete Part V documentation in the WAMS system.


• Participate in outreach and marketing efforts to attract new individuals to the programs.


• Build and maintain strong relationships within the community; conduct presentations at local CSBs and other facilities.


• Conduct regular meetings with facility directors and program staff.


• Evaluate individuals referred for services as well as those currently enrolled to ensure appropriate placement and support.

Knowledge & Skills:
