Our commercial real estate client in Atlanta is seeking a PMO / Account Lead to direct program governance and delivery across real estate transactions, project controls, and design and construction for a high-growth national facility portfolio. You'll lead a core team of 8-10, align multiple Owner's Rep partners, and champion AI and automation to improve speed and accuracy.
This is a 12-month minimum assignment with a hybrid schedule: three days per week on site in Midtown and two days remote.
Responsibilities
- Establish and refine cross-functional RACI frameworks connecting client real estate, construction, infrastructure, and facilities stakeholders.
- Align multiple Owner's Representative teams (third-party and internal) on QA/QC, execution playbooks, and standardized reporting.
- Lead monthly governance reviews and quarterly business reviews, delivering portfolio scorecards, risk matrices, and executive briefings to senior client leadership.
- Oversee transaction advisory workflows, ensuring lease terms, landlord delivery conditions, and TI allowances integrate with capital delivery schedules.
- Direct build delivery across active facilities, holding to quality benchmarks, master schedule baselines, and go-live criteria.
- Oversee TI allowance reconciliation, change order validation, schedule of values audits, and value engineering.
- Enforce invoice and pay-application auditing, including work-in-place and lien waiver verification.
- Manage critical path, schedule risk, and supply chain registers to resolve permitting, procurement, and contractor capacity bottlenecks early.
- Sponsor and prioritize AI and automation workstreams (document extraction, invoice ingestion, risk registers, automated reporting) and set governance guardrails for the team's tech specialist.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
- 12+ years of progressive leadership in commercial real estate, occupier advisory, or PMO leadership for major corporate or institutional accounts.
- Experience directing programs that combine transactions/leasing with high-velocity capital project delivery (industrial, logistics, mission-critical, or high-tech preferred).
- Proven record of governing multi-firm Owner's Rep arrangements and performance audits.
- Familiarity with AI, process automation, and data analytics, and the vision to identify use cases and drive change management. No coding required.
- Strong executive communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- PMP, PgMP, CCM, MRICS, or Lean Six Sigma a plus.
