Job summary

The City of Tigard seeks a motivated Program Development Specialist for the Community Development Department. This role acts as the SME and functional lead for EPL and related software, driving data management, reporting, and performance metrics to inform decisions, while collaborating across teams to improve processes and service delivery for staff and customers.

Qualifications

Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field.
Two (2) years of experience in planning, development, implementation and/or administration of programs in a government setting.
Experience with EPL and reporting/data management is desirable.

Responsibilities

Serves as subject matter expert and functional lead for EPL and related Community Development software applications.
Collaborate with Finance, IT, and other partners to develop, maintain, and deliver reports and data on activities and metrics.
Develop, maintain, and update departmental SOPs to promote consistent processes.
Respond to information requests and provide clear guidance to internal and external customers.
Support department management with special projects and fiscal processes.
