Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Program Data Analyst to turn messy project data into actionable business insights. You will process large datasets, validate sources, and build prototypes that test ideas before budgeting.

You will work with project teams, engineering, sales, and functional leaders, delivering repeatable data workflows, AI use case assessments, and clear reports that support delivery and decision making.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, data science, CS, IS, or related technical field.
• Ability to process large, inconsistent datasets end to end, including extraction from documents.
• Proficiency in Python, advanced Excel, and SQL.
• Experience calling and integrating APIs and building small automations.
• Experience applying AI services to real workflows with sound judgment.
• Clear written communication and documenting repeatable methods.

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and normalize project data from documents, PDFs, scans, and spreadsheets.
• Collect, validate, and consolidate data from multiple systems for reporting outputs.
• Run quality checks and document assumptions and gaps.
• Build repeatable data processing routines and outputs.
• Develop proofs of concept and scope with stakeholders.
• Present findings to project teams and leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, IT, and leaders to prioritize requests.
• Track AI use cases and monitor adoption after release.
