Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Manager of Program Cost Controls to lead the SLCM-N development program’s cost controls and EVM activities. The role oversees two analysts and collaborates with Finance, Program Management, and Contracts to deliver accurate forecasts and reporting.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Math and 8+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field and 8+ years of experience or advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to organize, prepare, and present financial or program briefings to management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Supervise two individual contributors, including reviewing work and training.
• Execute monthly and quarterly contract deliverables.
• Manage Earned Value Management (EVM) activities for the program.
• Prepare monthly financial forecasts using RPlan.
• Provide financial analysis and information to program leadership.
• Monitor cost collection and variances from financial plans.
• Support program funding activities and related transactions.
• Present financial and program information to management and stakeholders.
