Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking a Program Coordinator to support Undergraduate Studies within the School of Social Sciences. You will analyze needs, set objectives, manage budgets and scheduling for undergraduate programs, and coordinate personnel and curriculum with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Your role requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of university processes, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders across campus.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of University rules and regulations for budget, accounting and fund management.
• Interpersonal and written communication skills; advising and counseling abilities.
• Analytical planning for instructional programs, space, staff, and fiscal needs.
• Familiarity with UC-specific business systems and course scheduling software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under frequent interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze needs and establish short- and long-range objectives for undergraduate programs.
• Manage enrollment projects, budgets, and scheduling for undergraduate readers, graduate instructors and TAs.
• Oversee office administration, fiscal management, and curriculum for Undergraduate Studies.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to the Associate Dean for curriculum decisions.
