The University of Mississippi is seeking a Program Coordinator to manage day-to-day administrative operations for the UM Institute for the Arts. You will work closely with the Director and Associate Director to ensure continuity and professionalism across Institute activities.
Responsibilities include coordinating budgets and events, supporting communications, and fostering partnerships with departments such as Art & Art History, Music, and Theatre & Film.

Coordinates day-to-day fiscal, administrative, and operationalactivities of a defined, program or set of funded activities.Programs are usually focused to a single purpose, may bescientific, research, educational, or service oriented, and mayexist as a subset of an integrated funded program activity. Dutiestypically include assisting with grant planning and administration,fiscal, budgetary, and/or other associated transactions, programimplementation and administration, internal and externaloperational/administrative liaison, program marketing, andreporting.
Working closely with the Director and Associate Director of the UMInstitute for the Arts, this position provides comprehensiveoperational and communications support for interdisciplinaryinitiatives, programs, public events, and community partnerships.As the Institute’s primary staff coordinator, this role ensurescontinuity, professionalism, and organizational effectivenessacross all Institute activities.
The Program Coordinator serves as the administrative backbone ofthe Institute, enabling leadership to focus on strategic vision,academic innovation, and external engagement.
An equivalent combination of relatedexperience and education may be considered for this role.Substitutions of the required experience or education will beassessed on a 1:1 substitution basis.
