Job summary

The Arc Southern Chesapeake is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator to oversee daily operations of assigned homes in Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s counties. Under the Program Manager’s supervision, you will support individuals with disabilities, assist with daily living, and supervise Direct Support staff.

This role requires travel, weekend coverage as needed, and a commitment to individual choice and community inclusion. Strong communication and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Two years of experience with people with developmental and intellectual disabilities or equivalent.
• Strong written and spoken English; excellent communication.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel across Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s Counties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and staff scheduling.
• Manage finances and budgets for homes.
• Coordinate medical appointments and health records for individuals.
• Ensure wellness and safety of individuals and proper documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
