Job summary

GetHired, Inc. seeks a Program Coordinator to lead Day Habilitation and related DDA services in our Maryland area.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, develop tailored programs, and collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and staff to deliver person-centered supports. You will assess client needs, coordinate access to medical, educational, and vocational services, and monitor outcomes to improve service quality and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, special education, human services, public health, or related field.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities in program coordination, case management, direct support, or advocacy.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities, COMAR, and best practices for service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver DDA Day services including Day Habilitation and Employment Services.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and standards; prepare reports on activities and expenditures.
• Develop and oversee programs tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities with clear goals.
• Assess client needs and create individualized care plans with families and healthcare professionals.
• Facilitate access to medical care, therapy, education, vocational training, housing, and social activities.
• Monitor program effectiveness, outcomes, and satisfaction; implement improvements.
• Perform duties in line with Ruby Health Services’ DDA mission, vision and philosophy.
• Plan day program activities, logistics and train new staff.
• Manage PCP meetings and quarterly reports; handle staff scheduling and supervision.

ROGRAM COORDINATOR

Duties:

• Coordination and delivery of DDA Day services (Day Habilitation, Employment Services. Community Development Services, Supported Employment, Employment Discovery, and Customization.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards governing the provision of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Prepare and submit reports on program activities, outcomes, and financial expenditures as required by funding agencies or regulatory bodies.
• Develop, implement, and oversee programs and services tailored to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. This involves creating program goals, objectives, and strategies to ensure effective service delivery.
• Assess the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Coordinate and facilitate access to various support services including medical care, therapy, education, vocational training, housing, and social activities to enhance the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, client outcomes, and satisfaction levels. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance service quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
• Performs job duties in line with Ruby Health Services’ DDA's mission, vision, and philosophy.
• Day Program Activity Planning, Logistics and New Staff Training
• Individual Initial PCP Meeting and overall PCP Management including quarterly reports.
• Staff Scheduling, Supervision, and Management including performance reports, incident reports, and weekly meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social work, psychology, special education, human services, public health, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a professional capacity is typically required. This may include experience in program coordination, case management, direct support, or advocacy roles within the field of developmental disabilities services.
• A strong understanding of developmental disabilities, including their causes, characteristics, and impact on individuals' lives, is essential. Knowledge of COMAR, and best practices governing the provision of services to individuals with disabilities is also important.

Specific Requirements:

1. Pass a criminal background investigation and any other required background checks and verifications.
2. Must have own reliable transportation that is safe, smoke-free, with adequate insurance coverage and a valid driver’s license.
3. Current CMT License, first aid and CPR certification.
4. Successful completion of the DDA required trainings outlined by DDA.
5. Conduct self in a professional manner at all times when interacting with individual, neighbors, parents, advocates, consultants, and regulatory personnel.
6. Clean driving record.
