Role Description

The Program Coordinator, College of Arts & Sciences is a full-time, on-site position located in Riverside, CA. This role supports academic programs by coordinating day-to-day operations, including scheduling courses, organizing events, and maintaining program records and documentation. The Program Coordinator collaborates with faculty, staff, and students to address inquiries, provide information about program requirements, and ensure timely communication. Responsibilities include assisting with program development initiatives, tracking projects and deadlines, preparing reports, and supporting assessment and accreditation-related activities. The role also involves managing office workflows, handling customer service interactions with prospective and current students, and contributing to a professional, student-centered environment aligned with the university’s Christian mission.


Qualifications


  • Program management and program development skills to coordinate academic offerings, support new initiatives, and maintain accurate program documentation.

  • Project management abilities to organize tasks, monitor timelines, and support implementation of college and departmental projects.

  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders in verbal and written formats.

  • Customer service skills to provide responsive and respectful support to students and visitors and resolve routine issues professionally.

  • Relevant experience in higher education administration or academic support roles preferred.

  • Proficiency with office software and data management tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and scheduling systems).

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as education, administration, or a discipline within arts and sciences preferred.

  • Ability to support and work within a Christian university environment consistent with CBU's mission and values.
