  • Partner with the University Career Center and academic departments to connect students with internship, career, networking, and professional development opportunities.
  • Assist students in meeting requirements and preparing for experiential learning opportunities, including internships, job shadowing, research experiences, and community engagement activities.
  • Promote and facilitate student participation in scholarships, undergraduate research, study abroad, service-learning, and other high-impact educational experiences.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for Community and Global Engagement programs, initiatives, and activities.
  • Track, maintain, and prepare reports on Community and Global Engagement participation, outcomes, and related metrics.
  • Respond to and assist with a variety of student needs by providing information, resources, referrals, and support services.
  • Compose, prepare, and maintain confidential correspondence, reports, records, and other complex documents with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Represent California Baptist University and the College of Arts and Sciences in a professional, positive, and service-oriented manner.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Higher Education, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; and two to three years of progressively responsible experience in program coordination, student services, higher education administration, community engagement, or a related area; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
