Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, customer-oriented Project Control Specialist in Stafford, VA to support the Portfolio Acquisition Executive Marine Corps Contract.

You will develop and maintain the program's Integrated Master Schedule, support acquisition documentation, and coordinate with multiple offices to ensure cost, schedule, and performance alignment. A DoD AFF background and active clearance are highly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
  • 5+ years supporting DoD acquisitions within AFF/DoD 5000.
  • Experience developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules in DoD programs.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

Responsibilities

  • Provide programmatic and analytical support to develop and manage acquisition programs within AFF/DoD 5000 cost, schedule, performance constraints.
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedule per government policy.
  • Coordinate action item tracking and day-to-day program activities.
  • Draft, review, and update acquisition documents, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate with sponsor offices, executive agents, partners, and integrators per Program Office guidance.
  • Support Program Office risk management activities.
  • Coordinate meetings, capture minutes, and provide briefing support.

Job description

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented Project Control Specialist supporting the Portfolio Acquisition Executive Marine Corps Contract in Stafford, VA.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Provide the government Project Office with programmatic and analytical support to develop and manage acquisition programs within the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AFF) within cost, schedule, and performance parameters.
  • Develop and maintain the program’s Integrated Master Schedule in accordance with current government policy.
  • Coordinate action item tracking and provide general day-to-day support of programmatic activities.
  • Support acquisition documentation development activities including drafting, reviewing, and updating documents, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate with sponsor offices, executive agents, internal and external partners, and integrators for updates and changes to the system in coordination with Program Office guidance.
  • Support Program Office risk management activities.
  • Coordinate and attend meetings and conferences, capture and prepare meeting minutes, and provide presentation/ briefing support.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree and at least 5 years of experience supporting DoW programs that rely on the Adaptive Acquisition Framework / DoD 5000. Additional 2 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Must have expertise in developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules for the DoW using MS Project.
  • Extensive knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Must have experience leading DoD Acquisitions professionals supporting varying competencies (e.g., Systems Engineering, Logistics, Finance, Program Analysis).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Business or Technical degree.
  • DAU / WarU Program Management Practitioner certified (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of USMC procedures and policies in support of acquisition, logistics, and fielding activities including the preparation of acquisition documentation, technical documentation, and data entry in spreadsheets and databases.
  • Experience with SharePoint databases and MS Teams.

Clearance Required: Must have a current / active DoW Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance.
