Collins Aerospace in the United States seeks a Program Chief Engineer for Aircraft Vision Systems Hardware Development. Lead a multi-discipline engineering team in a regulated avionics environment, owning schedules, milestones, and EV metrics.

You will drive system-level requirements, coordinate CEH hardware development and DO-254/DO-160 compliance, and partner with manufacturing for production test and NPI. Onsite role with opportunity to influence critical aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
• Experience with Earned Value based project management is required.
• Experience in Complex Electronic Hardware (CEH) or Airborne Electronics Hardware development and DO‑254/DO‑160 compliance is required

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidiscipline engineering team on complex hardware in a regulated avionics environment.
• Develop and manage schedules, milestones, and Earned Value metrics.
• Coordinate CEH hardware design reviews and testing plans.
• Guide DO-254/DO-160 compliance activities and certification planning.
• Collaborate with manufacturing for production readiness and NPI.
