Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Business Operations Manager 1 in Chandler, AZ to partner with Program and Functional Managers and oversee financial, scheduling, contractual, and proposal aspects of the Strike Weapons program under the Program Office.

The role leads a team across Contracts, Finance and Scheduling, managing forecasting, EVMS-based budgeting, cost control, and reporting, and coordinating audits; travel up to 10% for domestic and international assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline with 5 years of associated job experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop talent.
• Experience with cost and schedule control, program budgeting and forecasting using EVMS principles.
• Schedule, performance and financial reporting experience on a variety of contract types.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically 10% of the time.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Knowledge and management of various government CLIN types including CPIF/CPAF/FPIF/FPAF/FFP.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance or higher.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and oversight for a team of Business Operations functions (Contracts, Finance, Scheduling).
• Manage financial business analysis and reporting with the ability to clearly communicate with management as it relates to financial program status.
• Oversee key line forecasting, work authorization, EV reporting, program budgeting, and related financial reporting activities.
• Coordinate cost and schedule analyses and preparation of reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and cost control guidelines.
• Manage financial risks and opportunities with multiple contract types.
• Assist with organization, development, and execution of Proposal efforts for contract modifications and supporting Business Development on new contracts.
• Support various internal and external audits as applicable.
