Job summary

National Council on Aging, Inc. in Wheeling, WV, is seeking a Program Associate, AmeriCorps Workforce Development, to support planning, coordination, and implementation of workforce development initiatives within the Center for Economic Well-Being (CEW).

This role partners with staff, community organizations, employers, training providers and volunteers to support successful program implementation and advance workforce development goals, serving AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers across WV Northern

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of relevant program coordination experience.
• Experience in workforce development or human services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day SDP implementation to support participant success.
• Serve as case manager for AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers.
• Recruit volunteers and match to stations; manage data entry.
• Develop participant recruitment strategies and partner networks.
• Travel within service area to support partner meetings and events.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with program standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support grant objectives.
