Job summary

National Council on Aging, based in Arlington, VA, seeks a Program Associate, Workforce Development to support planning, coordination, and implementation of workforce development initiatives within the Center for Economic Well-Being (CEW). Responsibilities include technical assistance, program coordination, and collaboration with grantees and partners to strengthen implementation and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least one year of technical assistance or related experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in employment and training programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with grant-funded programs and reporting is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 20% across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and capacity-building support to network members.
• Coordinate program activities and maintain partner relationships.
• Monitor performance and support grant reporting and invoicing.
• Support development of templates, tools, and resources for CEW programs.
• Represent NCOA with external partners and stakeholders.
