Job summary

Housing Works is seeking a Program Associate to provide administrative and operational support for the STARS Housing Programs, including placing Work Orders, ordering furniture, scheduling and receiving deliveries. The role handles data entry, ordering supplies, rent tracking, and coordinating with Finance and Program staff to ensure timely payments and contract compliance.

Strong organizational skills and experience serving low-income communities are preferred, with opportunities for advocacy

Qualifications

  • High School Degree or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Three or more years of related experience with low-income/marginalized communities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain furniture inventory and monitor supplies.
  • Track rent collections and identify incorrect or missing payments.
  • Order furniture and supplies per Procurement Policy.
  • Track and report rent collections and utility payments.
  • Maintain staff keys and distribute Omny Cards.
  • Collect and organize client documentation for contracts and audits.
  • Assist with data entry, data management, and program reporting.
  • Ensure retention, archiving, and secure disposal of client charts.

Education

High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor's Degree preferred
