Job summary

Shaw University is seeking a Program Assistant for the Nurturing Children and Youth project within the Divinity School. You will coordinate events, support congregational engagement, and assist in planning meetings and conferences under the Lilly Endowment initiative.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years managing church programs or events, and 3+ years in program development, with strong communications and virtual engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s Degree Preferred in relevant field of study.
• Experience with social media engagement and digital communications.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of the Nurturing Children and Youth project.
• Coordinate meetings, programs, and conferences with partners.
• Organize virtual meetings and track enrollment activities.
• Support recruitment, marketing, and program planning.
