General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Case Files Analyst to manage and analyze document requests for a government agency. You will log, track, and assign requests, assess what may be released, and collaborate with program staff to assemble required documents.

You will review files for redaction per SOPs, handle complex requests, and submit responses on established timelines. This role supports FOIA activities and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related document or program analysis experience working at an agency that provides services for underserved/vulnerable populations.
  • Must have demonstrated experience working with sensitive documentation, an understanding of the proper handling of PII and experience following SOPs outlining the release of information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience Working With Underserved/vulnerable Populations Preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Access).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders such as program and/or customer staff to compile the requested documents.
  • Review files and redact information as directed by SOPs. Analyzes complex or unique requests by reviewing previous scenarios and seeking guidance from the team/leadership.
  • Submit completed requests to the requestor based on urgent or standard timelines.
  • Manage, track and authorize child advocate appointments for program participants.
  • Participate in special projects as required such as fulfilling large document requests in response to litigation inquiries.
  • Assist the FOIA team with processing requests and other tasks as requested.

Salary

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $25.63 - $29.87. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
