Job summary

Poudre Heritage Alliance is seeking a Program Development Director to lead the organization’s signature programs and events, including the Poudre River Forum and Capture the Cache. You will own program content, calendar, and partnerships across Northern Colorado, ensuring an engaging visitor experience.

In a small, collaborative team, you will secure resources through grant writing and sponsorships, while tracking outcomes and ensuring federal compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2–4 years' experience planning and executing public-facing programs or events
• Demonstrated experience securing grant funding, sponsorships, and new donor relationships, not solely stewarding existing ones
• Experience developing and managing program or event budgets
• 1–3 years' experience with donor/CRM databases
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking
• Familiarity with federal grant reporting and 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance), or willingness to train

Responsibilities

• Lead PHA's annual program and event calendar, including major events
• Develop and manage program and event budgets
• Identify and implement new programs to expand PHA's reach
• Track program participation, outcomes, and metrics
• Solicit, secure, and renew sponsorships and donor relationships
