Job summary

Rose Community Foundation seeks a dynamic VP of Programs to lead its grantmaking team during an exciting period of evolution. The role directs a five-person team and partners with donors, board and staff to advance equity and community impact in the Greater Denver region.

The ideal candidate brings at least 10 years of senior leadership in philanthropy, strong strategic planning, and a commitment to learning and collaboration across diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional and life experience.
• At least 10 years of professional experience, including 5+ in senior leadership with organizational capacity.
• Proven strategic planning, change management and budget experience.
• DEI knowledge and commitment to inclusive practices within philanthropy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the grants programs team and align with the new strategic plan.
• Develop and implement integrated grantmaking strategies and evaluation.
• Foster cross-department collaboration and effective internal communication.
• Build and maintain external donor and partner relationships.
