Overview

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Program and Planning Scheduling Analyst – Level 4 (can be filled at Level 3) in Promontory, UT. The role reports to the Business Management Scheduling Manager and involves detailed schedule, resource work, and cost analysis for multiple programs and contracts. The incumbent will make recommendations, create presentation content, present to leadership, and interface with multiple functional and supplier teams as well as the Program/Project Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, develop, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet program objectives and ensure horizontal and vertical integration.
  • Implement scheduling best practices per industry standards, including DCMA 14-point IPMR, DI-MGMT-81861, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), and Schedule Performance and Health Metrics and Analysis.
  • Provide weekly status and reporting, and conduct Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits.
  • Interface with multiple functional teams, supplier teams, and the Program/Project Manager; perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Level 4: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) software scheduling; proficiency with MS Office and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project 2016, Open Plan, PS3, Primavera P6, Milestone Professional, Deltek, SSI Tools).
  • Full understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and ability to support implementation on programs with varying contract types.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6.
  • Experience with resource loading schedules.
  • Experience with Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA).
  • Active US Government security clearance.
Program Details

Clearance: Top Secret (required for start). Relocation: Not provided. Travel: 10%. For any position with a government clearance, U.S. citizenship is required.
