Job summary

Job Overview

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst – Level 3 or 4 – to join our team in Dulles, VA. This position can be filled at either Level 3 or 4.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed schedule, resource, work, and cost analysis for multiple programs and contracts.
  • Make recommendations to solve problems, create presentation content, and present to various levels of leadership.
  • Interface with multiple functional teams, supplier teams, and the Program/Project Manager.
  • Prepare, develop, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives and ensure schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.
  • Implement scheduling best practices, including DCMA 14‑point IPMR, DI‑MGMT‑81861, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Critical Path Analysis, Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), and Schedule Performance and Health Metrics.
  • Provide weekly status and reporting.
  • Conduct Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Level 3: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience.
  • Level 4: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience.
  • Strong PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with scheduling software such as MS Project 2016, OpenPlan, PS3, Primavera P6, Milestone Professional, Deltek, and SSI tools.
  • Requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in MS Project 2016.
  • Experience with resource loading schedules.
  • Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) experience.
  • Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA).

Salary

Primary Level: $103,600.00 – $155,400.00. Secondary Level: $129,300.00 – $193,900.00.
