Job summary

Morgan Business Consulting seeks a Junior Financial Analyst to support the U.S. Navy program offices in Washington, D.C. The role requires three in-office days weekly (Tuesday–Thursday) in Crystal City, VA, with travel as needed.

You will perform financial and program management tasks, compile reports, assist with presentations, and maintain documentation within NEPS and SCIP systems while pursuing professional certifications as required by MBC and clients.

Qualifications

  • Three years of experience supporting U.S. Navy program offices.
  • Active DOD SECRET security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a US-accredited institution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases via government lead and PMX-303L SMEs.
  • Use SCIP to extract information and distribute reports to VLS correspondents.
  • Draft memos for government leads and distribute to case managers.
  • Update expenditure reports for field activities to track RSN expiry dates.
  • Draft, clone, and edit TPSs in NEPS for statements of work, funding activity.

We are currently seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join our team supporting the U.S. Navy in Washington, D.C. This position requires 3 days in office (Tuesday-Thursday) in Crystal City, VA.

What You’ll Do

The Junior Financial Analyst will provide program and financial management support to the FMS group at IWS 4.

Responsibilities
  • Lead program support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases on behalf of government lead and relayed requests to PAE Munitions PMX-303L subject matter experts
  • Utilize Security Cooperation Information Portal (SCIP) to extract case-pertinent information, reformatted and distributed report to VLS correspondents
  • Draft Memorandums (Memos) on behalf of government lead and distributed to PMX-303L case managers
  • Update expenditure reports from field activities, e.g. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWC DD) to maintain Requisition Serial Number (RSN) expiry dates
  • Utilize NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS) to extract consolidation report
  • Draft, clone, and edit Tasking Planning Sheets (TPSs) in NEPS to capture statements of work for field activity on behalf of funding activity
  • Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
  • Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients
Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience providing program and financial management support to U.S. Navy program offices
  • Active DOD SECRET security clearance
  • Prior experience with NEPS is preferred, but not required
  • Experience using the Security Information Portal is desired
  • Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited in the United States
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
