Job summary

Morgan Business Consulting, LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst in the Washington, D.C. area to support the Navy program office for Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment.

The role involves budgeting, financial analysis, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing budgets, developing guidelines, planning engagements, and ensuring compliance with Navy procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field from an institution accredited in the United States.
• Eligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance.
• EVM Certificate or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience providing business and financial management support to U.S. Navy program offices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, multitasking, and strong communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide business and financial management support to D PAE Maritime/SEA 21, the U.S. Navy's program office for Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment.
• Assist in annual budgets by measuring performance and assessing program effects on the budget.
• Examine budget estimates for completeness and conformance; perform cost-benefit analyses.
• Develop budget guidelines and train personnel on procedures.
• Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings and events.
• Develop briefing materials and prepare documents per Navy guidelines.
• Coordinate data calls and consolidate information for government leadership.
• Evaluate operational deficiencies and coordinate improvements.
• Transcribe meeting minutes and assist with action items.
• Schedule appointments, arrange travel, and support meetings with government customers.
• Attend program reviews and assist in preparing presentations and communications.
