Job summary

Imagine One Technology & Management is seeking a Program Analyst, Journeyman to support our NAVAIR PMSS contract at Patuxent River Naval Station, MD. The role entails program management and business analysis, developing SOWs/CDRLs, tracking schedules and milestones, and coordinating with IPTs to meet objectives.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of PM, technical or business analysis experience, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office 365.

Qualifications

  • Three years of program management, technical or business analysis experience, including two years in technical efforts for major systems.
  • Experience with web-based productivity tools and acquisition terminology.
  • Knowledge of PPBS, financial planning, and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in program management reviews and IPT leads meetings.
  • Develop SOWs and CDRLs; create PID requests and track milestones in PMT.
  • Maintain IMS schedules with scheduler; support case development efforts.
  • Create briefs, presentations, meeting minutes and action items.
  • Proficient in MS Office 365 tools and editing documents in Adobe Professional.

Imagine One is hiring for a Program Analyst, Journeyman to support our NAVAIR (PMA-275), V-22 FMS Japan Program Management Support Services (PMSS) contract. Work will be performed at Patuxent River Naval Station, Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following requirements:

Principal Requirements: The Program Analyst, Journeyman supports program related tasks in support of FMS pre-case, initial and sustaining requirements, case execution, reconciliation and case closure activities. The Program Analyst, Journeyman supports the program in the execution of all assigned activities. Participates in meetings to support program objectives. Assists with program management, technical, logistical or business analysis. Participates as a member of and/or supports the specified Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs); and IPT directed business meetings. Collect, complete and organize technical data relating to logistics programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • The Program Analyst is responsible for performing program management and business analysis. Participate as a member of and/or support the specified Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTLs); attending directed business meetings; collect, complete, organize and interpret program and logistics information relating to aircraft weapon/acquisition and product programs; track program/project status and financial obligations and expenditures; apply policies and procedures for logistics planning.
  • Must possess strong business acumen skills of team building, negotiation, decision-making, time management, and organization skills. Must also be able to effectively articulate ideas (both orally and in writing), apply strategic/critical thinking skills, and have the ability to meet and effectively converse with people at all levels. Must be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working in a very dynamic, fast-paced environment handling sensitive/proprietary documents. The ability to prepare concise and targeted briefing content and deliver "to the point" presentations to decision makers is essential.
  • The Program Analyst is required to support the team effectively to achieve program schedule objectives; develop and coordinate all required program acquisition documentation and briefings; and ensure all program requirements and milestones are communicated and coordinated with program leadership. In addition, the Program Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following requirements:
    • Participate in Program Management Reviews
    • Develops Statement of Work (SOW) and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs)
    • Creates Procurement Initiation Document (PID) requests and tracks milestones in the Procurement Management Tool (PMT)
    • Works with the scheduler to ensure the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) is up to date
    • Support case development efforts
    • Develops briefs, presentations, meeting minutes and action items
    • MS Office 365 (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
    • Editing documents, templates, and forms in Adobe Professional

Required Experience: Journeyman:

  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline; and included in the three (3) years, there must be two (2) years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development
  • Demonstrated experience managing program/projects using web-based productivity tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic acquisition terminology and the acquisition process to include SECNAV, OPNAV and NAVAIR policies for traditional and rapid acquisition methods
  • Demonstrated knowledge related to PPBS, financial planning cycles, and application of appropriations
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing requirements and monitoring progress of tasks in a distributed workforce
  • Experience with Risk Management terminology and practices
  • Demonstrated experience in researching, compiling, tracking and analyzing program technical and/or financial data

Educational Requirements: Journeyman

  • BA/BS Degree in a business, management or relevant technical discipline
  • Allowable Substitution: an AA/AS degree and an additional 4 years’ experience or no degree and an additional 8 years’ experience

Security Requirements: U.S. Citizenship required; Minimum Secret clearance required OR must be eligible to apply and be granted interim DoD interim clearance prior to employment
