DSE, Inc. seeks a Program Analyst to support the Patuxent River, MD customer. The analyst will apply analytic techniques to evaluate program objectives, track status, budgets, and schedules for the Tomahawk Weapons System Program Office (PMX-280).
Responsibilities include preparing SOWs, WAAs, PIDs, budgets, and risk reports, coordinating with Contracts and external stakeholders, and delivering briefing materials for the PMX-280 Risk Management Board.
We are seeking a ProgramAnalyst to support our Patuxent River, MD customer. The Program Analyst will provide support across the Tomahawk Weapons System Program Office, PMX-280, and directly support the Capabilities Improvement (Obsolescence) IPTL.
Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies Government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
BA or BS with a degree in a business, management, or an engineering discipline.
3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
DAWIA Certification Requirement (i.e., DAWIA Practitioner in Program Management or equivalent industry certification). The candidate is desired to have 2-4 years professional experience in a NAVAIR Program Office. The candidate is desired to have effective project management skills in order to develop, plan, analyze, and execute projects across the full system life cycle. The candidate is desired to have experience and expertise utilizing project management tools in order to conduct schedule analysis, track and coordinate technical requirements, documentation, and briefing packages, manage and lead cost estimating and budgeting, understand earned value management, and lead risk and opportunity management processes. Demonstrated ability to use standard analytical and office automation tools, including limited use of government-approved automated or AI-enabled features, to assist with data analysis, document preparation, and reporting in support of acquisition or program management activities. The position desires the candidate to possess the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, coordinate with various stakeholders, and manage external relationships effectively. It is desired to be able to think and speak clearly, present ideas effectively, and negotiate with people at all levels of organizational hierarchy.
