Job summary

Orchard seeks a Program Analyst to provide high-level operational, analytical, and administrative support to the Science Advisory Board and Work Groups, focusing on structural management of board activities and rigorous reporting and meeting protocols. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities include developing program plans, coordinating meetings, drafting minutes, and conducting research to support board objectives and environmental priorities, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, marine affairs, marine biology or related.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating marine policy or science advisory relations within a NOAA mission-driven environment/contract.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules, facilitate public meetings, and draft high-quality reports without external supervision.
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and external stakeholders with a high degree of discretion and professionalism.

  • Conduct ongoing research to support board objectives and manage citations relevant to environmental and weather enterprise priorities.
