Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a Program Analyst 3 to lead analytical projects across the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. You will study complex programs, review new technologies, and guide data-driven improvements to strengthen processes within veterans homes and support informed decision making.

You will collaborate with teams to advance quality, accuracy, and efficiency across the system, with opportunities for telework and a 37.5-hour work week.

Qualifications

• One year as a Program Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government title) or three years of analytical experience with a bachelor's degree.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Program Research: Conduct research studies and analyze initiatives to assess effectiveness and alignment with goals
• Data Evaluation: Review program metrics, measure performance, and analyze complex data sets for improvements
• Grant Coordination: Collaborate with departments to develop applications, monitor compliance, and support reporting
• Report Development: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports that help leadership understand operational trends
• System Administration: Serve as an administrator for assigned systems, analyze updates, and support user training
• Team Collaboration: Lead or assist cross functional teams in evaluating new products, studying outcomes, and creating recommendations
