Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Program Aide in Tucson, AZ, to assist in supervising after-school and summer programs for youth. STATUS: PT/ 26 Hours Per Week/Non Exempt

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with the supervision of program participants
• Provide guidance in after-school, summer day camp, teen and troop programs
• Assist with kitchen duties, preparation, serving and warming food as needed
• Assist in daily clean up in assigned work area
• Assist with various fund-raising events throughout the year
• Assist in securing of facility upon completion of programs or activities
• Maintain a safe and secure environment/property for all program participants
• Effectively enforce all center rules, regulations and policies, maintaining proper conduct
• Participate in weekly meetings to discuss program planning, accomplishments, concerns
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor as it relates to the position of Program Aide
